Some uke and some teachers i've meet/ seen, are against learning aikido. They express their goals (i.e. being a soft martial art teacher; by the way a romanian MA federation had later labeled aikido as full-contact MA). Some tell me to change my fighting automatisms, for different reasons, all under my "own" "best" interest.
