She's Losing Interest

http://www.askmen.com/dating/doclove_300/311_relationship_expert.html
...

nice guy syndrome

First, let me tell you my situation. I've been dating Sasha for about three months now. I was unbelievably attracted to her from the start (she's 26 and a real hottie), and though I tried my best to stay a Challenge, I couldn't help myself from slipping into the worshipful "Nice Guy" syndrome, after which, predictably, she began to lose some interest in me.
...

get other women's attention

If Sasha's Interest Level is 51% (like you say it is), the attention of other women will have a positive impact for the time being. But if her interest is just flickering at around 40% to 49%, these little back-and-forth skirmishes won't amount to much of anything. When you're in that south-of-the-50-yard-line range, she's just wasting your time and playing with your head.
...
And then add Challenge to it. But it's probably too late.

...

get your dating act together

Sure, maybe you'll meet someone new when you're flirting. And maybe there'll be an earthquake and a brick will fall and hit you in the head, too. The problem is that unless you toughen up and get the monkey off your back, when Miss Beautiful No. 2 comes along, you're going to play the same old record. You're going to make the same tired mistakes, and No. 2 is going to get rid of you, too. Except that when she does, you'll be four years older, you'll have a network of little wrinkles around your eyes, and you won't be as cute.

How To Read A Woman's Interest Level

http://www.askmen.com/dating/doclove_150/150b_relationship_expert.html
...
for a woman who has never met you before, to be motivated to initiate a conversation with you in a public place, her Interest Level in you must be at least 80% or higher -- get it?

Understand something else, Martin. Just because a woman has 80%+ Interest Level in you, that alone does not guarantee that she will approach and initiate contact with a guy that she's attracted to. If she's an old-fashioned kind of gal, she'll still wait for the man to make the first move. Why? Because society dictates that it's the male who must be the aggressor. She still may think, "Hey, it's his job to put himself at risk, not mine."
...

you're up at bat

So Martin, when you're considering approaching a woman you've never been introduced to, be aware of what her body language is saying. Check out and properly evaluate every non-verbal signal that you can find. Then, if you're getting some kind of buying signals, make an attempt to strike up a conversation with her. Of course, try to get her to laugh right off the bat if at all possible.

But do not wait for her to make the first move. And even if she does make the first move, do not wait for her to ask for your phone number. You must take charge, be assertive and go for the gold. She'll respect you for it when you do.

Doc Love: Dealing With An Alpha Female

...
We don't break up with women -- they drop us. Get it? Sure, something was missing for her -- 51 points of Interest Level! It was 100% for around 180 days, but you managed to lower it to 49%. That's the missing "chemistry" she was talking about. Chemistry is the twin sister of Challenge.

doc love’s answer

Hi Foster,

I’m going a little out of order here, but please bear with me. Number two: You dated this girl when she was between 18 and 22. And when you fall in love with a babe in that age range, you’re asking for trouble. Like the old Chinese proverb goes, “At that age they’re a tad flighty, grasshopper.”
...

you’ve been drop-kicked

You guys didn’t break up; Sara dropped you. She dropped you because she wanted the attention of 500 other guys.
...
Did you notice that Sara talked only about how much you care about her and she’s not talking about her wild passion for you? And all this isn’t because she’s a so-called “alpha female,” it’s because you turned her off and she has low Interest Level.

tap dancing on her ego

All you guys ever want to do is rationalize the woman’s behavior. Every time a woman does something nasty to you, you make the excuse that she’s an alpha female, that she’s shy or that she’s been hurt. You always come up with a second, third or fourth reason why you got dumped, but never the FIRST, MOST IMPORTANT REASON -- which is LOW INTEREST LEVEL. This girl doesn’t dig you. And if you did leave her the first time -- which I doubt -- she only came back to you because she couldn’t believe that you didn’t come crawling back to her begging like 90% of guys do when she’s in that 40% to 49% Interest Level range.

Sara only told you she wanted to be with you forever to get you back because you rubbed her ego wrong. She was just playing an ego game with you, and now you have her mixed up with an alpha female -- which is really a bunch of BS.

... She craves attention and she has to have it. ... She probably has very low self-esteem and one man will never be able to fulfill her.” You don’t stand a chance, buddy.

... alpha females with high Interest Level don’t play games with their men. ... She’s about as alpha as they come and even the fact that her husband has repeatedly cheated on her hasn’t lowered her Interest Level.

And by the way, when is Sara going to learn to handle all this male attention ? When she’s collecting Social Security ?

she’s running with the pack

Dude, why would you want to be with a girl who’s running around with your friends ? ...

... Whether she gets along with other girls or not is not an issue here. The point -- the only point -- is her Interest Level toward you. ... This whole thing about incorporating you into her “guy-friend time” has absolutely nothing to do with the issue of her interest in you. ...

Sara’s not scared of settling down. As a matter of fact, she’s not scared of anything. Like my Uncle Jethro Love says, “She’s only scared of having to spend time with you, when she’d rather be with the rugby team !”

she has to like you to cheat

And she’s not cheating on you either; to cheat on you she’d have to have high Interest Level in you in the first place.

Sadly, you can’t keep Sara from getting bored. Like my cousin Brother Love down in Watts says: “Too late, dawg. Her Interest Level crossed over into Mexico.”

... For the past 30 years Doc Love has asked thousands of women, “Why do you stay with one man versus another ?”

How To Deal With Bored Married Women

How To Deal With Bored Married Women
By Doc Love

Web Site: Doc Love's System: click here

Success Coach

This week's letter comes from a guy who wants to know why bored, married, rich women keep coming on to him.

reader's question

Hey Doc,
...

unhappily married women

What's complicating this situation is that I seem to keep running into unhappily married women who show an interest in me. These are women whom I've met through my work (I own a small manufacturing business.) I'll give you examples.

First there's Dominique, a stunning Frenchwoman who is married to an American man. He's a successful financial analyst; a very nice man (I've met him a couple of times) and they have two young children. The problem, says Dominique, is that she's not in love with her husband anymore. He doesn't pay attention to her and is always working. They are well off and have all the trappings; it goes without saying. She claims that she is physically attracted to me, but so far when we've been alone, she has made no move to touch me.

unhappily separated women

Another example is Ava, a gorgeous redhead in the process of getting separated from her wealthy stockbroker husband. They have five kids, and her complaints about her soon-to-be-ex are the same as Dominique's, with the addition that Ava's husband is also mentally and physically abusive. Ava and her kids are also well provided for, but she's not happy. She also says she's attracted to me, but when we went for a walk in the park the other day, she said that she "wasn't ready" to go any further at this point because her head's "not right." But what threw me for a loop is that she revealed to me right afterward that she's already dating a musician.

doc love's answer

Hi Quentin,
...
these gals are coming to you for business reasons. You haven't talked about trying to meet females by working the Internet, or going to a dance club, or attending a cooking class or awareness seminar.

The point is that you're really not going out and consciously "meeting" this type of woman.
...
They just appear to be it for the time being.

were these women in love ?

Did you ask Dominique if when she married her poor sap of a husband she was in love with him ?
...
Don't you see that, Quentin? And don't for a minute jump to the conclusion that the mess she's in is definitely the fault of her husband. What she's handing you is just Womanese for "I'm bored, and I need to play with someone else's head for a while !"

Here's another question you should have asked her: How does she think her kids are going to be provided for after she dumps hubby ? I hate to have to break this to you, pal, but Dominique's selfish, and all she's thinking about is herself, not her kids. And they deserve to be thought about. After all, like my cousin Brother Love says, "The little ones didn't ask for your misery, did they ?"

These women are players, so it's time you started using them ...
...
need someone to moan to about how terrible their lives are
...

be patient with women

So, buddy, rather than get yourself entangled in a quagmire with one of these two temptresses, what you're going to do is get Dominique and Ava to set you up with their best-looking girlfriends who are single. Tell them, "Next time you want to get together and talk about your husband problems, bring along one of your hottest friends. In fact, bring along two of them. I don't want you to think I'm a hog or anything, but what the heck, let's spread all this love around !"

You're not going to go chasing after these two beauties, Quentin.
...
Ava and Dominique might be lovely on the outside, but they're not lovely on the inside.

7 Steps to Self Agape

Find out more about self agape

Remember that the goal of this teaching is to facilitate the lessons of unconditional love and acceptance. There is no possibility of accomplishing this toward others if you have not first learned how to unconditionally accept yourself.

Here are seven steps to lead you in that direction.

1. Trust in your perceptivity.

2. Ruthless truthfulness with yourself.

3. Acknowledging that the world and those in it are perfect and making a commitment to be tolerant.

4. Allow yourself your own power and constant choice to be appropriate with it.

5. Erasing fear and the chief negative feature to live in gentleness and joy.

6. Truly experiencing surrender and therefore power and control, which leads to the true integration of personality and essence. This allows you to fully experience the physical plane as well as the truth, love, and beauty of the other planes.

7. Humility

Growth and development: Helping your child build self-esteem

http://health.yahoo.com/parenting-behavior/growth-and-development-helping-your-child-build-self-esteem/healthwise--tk1326.html
...

Belonging

Through contact with others, we know that we are loved and respected and that we belong. Use the following suggestions to help your child feel he or she belongs within your family.

  • Show your love. Let your child know you love him or her for who he or she is, not for what he or she does. Make it a habit to show your love for your child in at least two ways each day.
  • Let your child know that he or she is special. List at least three of your child's good qualities and post them on your refrigerator. Add to these qualities from time to time. Celebrate your child's good qualities often.
  • Praise your child. Make positive comments about your child's behavior at least twice as often as you make negative comments (and try for four times as often). Notice your child's strengths, even when he or she is misbehaving. When you focus on what you like, your child's behavior will improve.
  • Listen to your child. When your child shares something with you, give him or her your undivided attention and listen carefully. Don't give advice unless asked for it or you feel your child's safety is involved. Don't ridicule or shame your child.
  • Have family times. Have regular times for the family to have fun together, such as playing board or card games. Try to have as many family meals together as possible. Don't discuss problems or concerns during these times unless it is absolutely necessary.
  • Encourage positive peer experiences. Look for activities with peers where your child can feel success and acceptance, such as participating in a sport or joining a club.

Learning

Although learning really takes place all the time, plan to create a learning opportunity for your child at least once a week.

  • Choose a learning activity. Choose an activity that is appropriate for your child's age and that builds on his or her strengths. Do not overstress the danger or difficulty involved in a task or activity. You might invite your child to help with one of your chores or hobbies. If you do, be sure that you are not feeling rushed during the activity. Let it be a fun time.
  • Let your child try. Even if your child has difficulty with a new task or skill, don't quickly take over and show him or her how to do it. Be patient and let your child try.
  • Break up a complex task. Simple steps help a child see progress when learning a complex skill. Don't embarrass your child by asking him or her to do difficult tasks in front of other people.
  • Praise accomplishments. Even if the completed work does not meet your standard, find at least one positive thing to say.
  • Encourage practice. When your child is learning a new skill that takes practice, such as riding a bicycle, don't expect perfection the first time. Encourage your child to practice and talk about his or her improvement with each practice time.

Contributing

Contributing enhances our feelings of belonging, providing the basis for continued learning and strengthening of self-esteem. Every day, use the following suggestions to help your child feel that he or she is contributing.

  • Set family rules. Family rules help children know that the family stands for something and gives them exposure to order and ritual. Have as few family rules as possible and enforce them consistently. Write down your family's rules and the consequences if those rules are broken in a family rules formClick here to view a form. (What is a PDF document?) .
  • Invite cooperation. Regular family meetings are a way to help children learn to cooperate. Family meetings are a place where family members discuss concerns and problems.
  • Expect accountability. You can help your child learn to be responsible by assigning him or her some household chores. Make sure the chores are appropriate for your child's age. As your child grows, hold your child accountable for his or her choices and behavior and let your child experience natural or logical consequences.
  • Express appreciation. Let your child know you appreciate his or her help with tasks, even household chores.

You may want to keep a journal when you are starting to use this method. Each day for at least 3 weeks, write in your journal specifically how you helped your child develop a sense of belonging, learning, and contributing. Keeping a journal for an extended period of time will help encourage positive behavior. After 3 weeks, review your notes to see your child's progress and to identify new ways to help your child.

Nitobe, however, is perhaps most famous in the west for his work Bushido: The Soul of Japan (1900), which was one of the first major works on samurai ethics and Japanese culture written originally in English for Western readers (The book was subsequently translated into Japanese and many other languages). Although sometimes criticized as portraying the samurai in terms so Western as to take away some of their actual meaning, this book nonetheless was a pioneering work of its kind.

... These views were consistent with a Freethought tradition already prevailing in America, particularly among Deists of Quaker heritage such as Thomas Paine. The most original aspect of Hicks's theology was his rejection of Satan as the source of human "passions" or "propensities." Hicks stressed that basic urges, including all sexual passions, were neither implanted by an external Devil nor the product of personal choice, but were aspects of human nature created by God. "He gave us passions—if we may call them passions—in order that we might seek after those things which we need, and which we had a right to experience and know," he claimed in his 1824 sermon, "Let Brotherly Love Continue." Hicks taught that evil and suffering occurred not because human nature harbored these "propensities," but rather resulted from "an excess in the indulgence of propensities."

In 1858, Walt Whitman, one of Hicks's most famous exponents, astutely assessed Hicks as "a wonderful compound of the mystic with the logical reasoner," and explained that Hicks was "destined to make a radical revolution in a numerous and devout Society, and his influence to be largely felt outside of that Society..." The Quaker theology of "God within" (another name for the Inner Light) appeared subsequently in the theory of the Free Love movement, where it was deemed compatible with the religious sociology of Charles Fourier.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_love
The term free love has been used since at least the nineteenth century[1] to describe a social movement that rejects marriage, which is seen as a form of social bondage, especially for women. Much of the free-love tradition is an offshoot of anarchism, and reflects a civil libertarian philosophy that seeks freedom from State regulation and Church interference in personal relationships. According to this concept, the free unions of adults are legitimate relations which should be respected by all third parties whether they are emotional or sexual relations. In addition, some free-love writing has argued that both men and women have the right to sexual pleasure. In the Victorian era, this was a radical notion.

While the phrase free love is often associated with promiscuity in the popular imagination, especially in reference to the counterculture of the 1960s and 1970s, historically the free-love movement has not advocated multiple sexual partners or short-term sexual relationships. Rather, it has argued that love relations that are freely entered into should not be regulated by law. Thus, free-love practice may include long-term monogamous relationships or even celibacy, but would not include institutional forms of polygamy, such as a king and his wives and concubines.

Laws of particular concern to free love movements have included those that prevent an unmarried couple from living together, and those that regulate adultery and divorce, as well as age of consent, birth control, homosexuality, abortion, and prostitution; although not all free lovers agree on these issues. The abrogation of individual rights in marriage is also a concern—for example, some jurisdictions do not recognise spousal rape or treat it less seriously than non-spousal rape. Free-love movements since the 19th century have also defended the right to publicly discuss sexuality and have battled obscenity laws.

In the twentieth century, some free-love proponents extended the critique of marriage to argue that marriage as a social institution encourages emotional possessiveness and psychological enslavement.
